Q: Do I need to make an appointment or can I just walk-in?

It is better to make an appointment so that you can see Dr. Chan in a timely manner. Otherwise, you may need to wait.

Q: OK, what should I expect, coming in for the first time?

When you come in for the first time, our receptionist will assist you with your registration. You should bring your ID card with you. If you have recently taken radiographs, it is a good idea to bring them to the consultation. After registration, you will meet Dr. Chan for your first orthodontic consultation which includes a comprehensive check up, radiographs, photographic records and dental impressions.

Q: When can I start treatment?

Depending on your oral health condition, orthodontic treatment may commence on the same day or may be delayed until after your oral health is stable. For children, treatment timing is of utmost importance, and Dr. Chan will be happy to guide you and your child based on your specific treatment needs.

Q: How much does it cost?

The consultation fee for Dr. Chan is $3500 which includes basic radiographs, dental impressions, clinical records. If a CBCT is required, it will cost an additional $2000.
